    Relocating intercooler with PVC?

Relocatoin of IC on 08 rxpx to fit the tdr waterbox and riva thru hull:

I am still deciding the best way for me to do this without buying the kit. I can bend schedule 80 pvc to almost any angle. Has anyone tried using pvc for the piping to the intercooler? Would it work? I also have a custom exhaust guy who could possibly bend me aluminum pipe to the angle I needed it..

    Would any of these work?

Aluminum would be fine. PVC not so much.

My rotary turbo Miata was plumbed from this place. Add a MIG welder and you can build almost anything.

Do some research prior to running that TDR waterbox!

I bought a bunch of stuff from them for the exhaust on a 2 stroke project. Good stuff

Kidding i just cant get over this picture.... Now with joke a side the problem with the TDR box is that people claim including my self that you run the chances of flooding the engine do to the design of the box. In my case i forgot to rev the engine after a ride and there was still some water inside the box on my way back home the water manage to make it back to the engine. Luckily it was very little but it did foul one of my spark plugs.... Im not a fan of Riva products but i can tell you the Riva waterbox is alot better product!!!!

I don't think PVC will hold up to the clamping pressures needed to keep the couplings on the PVC. You would keep popping off hoses.
Also, the PVC will distort underclamp pressure, so again, hoses would keep popping off.

I always blow the water out after rides, so hopefully I'm good.
