first time user long time reader. I was looking at the instructions for The Riva Engine cooling upgrade (oil cooling upgrade) and I see that they take the extra water line from the pump strainer? So why not take it from the gay visibilty spout? The gay visibility spout will be the first thing I will remove when I work out wether to by a HO or SHO. There should be plenty of pressure from there?
Hopefully there is some tech guru here who knows what the different pressures are between the Gay visibility spout and the cold water intake from the pump housing. Would the different pressure even make a difference with the upgrade?
Surely taking the new line from the strainer would reduce the water pressure and therefore the temp of the exhaust and the head?
