why would you want to start it with that much water in it? pump it out.

I have no pump and I want to use the bailers to drain it.. But don't want to ruin anything...

That's a lot of water.... If you have no other choice I would jump off and unscrew the drain plugs. The ball check valves in them won't allow water in, but will siphon the water out once you get moving a lot better than the bailers. Good luck

Get some tubing/hose and siphon it out???
You would probably have to beach it first, but doing that just pull drain plugs...

I might have to go out to town and buy a pump if it's the only way

Whats point in bending a rod/hydrolocking engine for sake of draining it surely ul get a cheap pump if needed?
Id personally be pulling plugs and cranking engine to make sure shes clear and check oil for water in it and pray shes free of water.
