I'd do Motec if your serious about putting all that stuff on. It will save you a ton of time and time is money and riding.

Read up on Athena and you'll see quickly that many people haven't had an easy path of getting it working well, some just gave up. Vipec looks promising, but haven't heard much on here about it.

Also chat to some of the guys on the board that have done major upgrades like you want done. They can tell you what is worth it and what isn't.

+1. I love my Motec and the customer service that is attached to it. I was testing my ski, and spoke to Nils on the phone while at the river. I sent him my log, and he sent the new revised map a few mins later. Ran it again with the new map and resent him the new log! Awesome customer service. You don't have to wait multiple days just to hear something back. I know he is a busy man and his time is limited, but he will explain to you how the Motec works if you want to know!

I wish I had just purchased the Motec from the beginning. With the amount that I spent on a CMD setup, Vtech setup, Riva ECu setup. I could had easily just afford a brand new motec.

Do it right the first time, get the Motec M130. You will never see posts like this about Motec and will see 100% satisfaction from every user!

I don't disagree with your post whatsoever but in that case I would suggest that Athena was not the main issue and possibly the consumer made a poor decision purchasing that product for his needs (it clearly states what functions are disabled and there are extensive instructions and support available).
You can't go wrong with MoTeC, it's as Aussie as, and that's just we roll .
