Question New 2014 VX Crusier Break in Noises

After putting about 3 hours on the engine it seems like it has gotten louder. I can hear more engine noise and valves. Before it was pretty quiet. I followed the manual and started let idle for 5-10 mins then keep RPMs around under 4000 for 30 mins and then 6000 RPM for 1hr. But the first day I had to tow two people in because their pwc died. I did not push it hard just a slow cruise under 4000. The next day i ran it no problems until i hit 3 hrs. Then i noticed more noise than before. Before the noise happened i was just idle in the water for about 5 - 10 mins. During this time i was in about 3-4 ft of water. I then proceeded to go back to the middle of the lake starting off slow then with about 3/4 of throttle. Thats when i noticed it sounded ruff and valve ticking. I rode it for another 30 mins no power delay and runs fine no smoke or loud noises but im still concerned because how it sounds.

Is this normal break in sound or did something happen?

Thank yall for the quick replies. I will take it in and have them check it out. lol I will not mention the towing part. It was quite funny i had to tow a Sea Doo which died then another Sea Doo died but a spark tried to tow him. Well the spark didnt have a tow rope, only a wake boarding rope with handle lol. The Spark tried to tow the other Sea Doo in and it sucked up the rope through the bottom grate getting wrapped severely. Short story I towed 2 Sea Doo's and a Spark but the sucky part is they got soaked because of the visibility spout . Did not help the wind was freezing cold.
