gonna try this...
Hi all,i've got a 2004 msx140 that i bought as a basket case here in the uk,the build is moving along slowly as i tackle the known issues.
however the one issue that i've been most concerned with is driveshaft alignment, luckily for me ive got some old 1200 parts that i can use.
so my idea is this, use an old stator, put 52◊25◊15 bearings in it use an old 1200 pto coupling on the end of the crank, spin the msx driveshaft around, place the spline end through the stator and use the msx driveshaft as the aligment tool in my old 1200 stator get the engine shimmed up,then put the proper coupling and original msx pump back together finally bolting up the bearing carrier.
what do you guys think, will it work?
