New Rotax Supercharger Impeller with Spacer?
Is there any information on this new wheel with housing spacer? Has anyone run it yet? Any idea on cost? I know there was some talk about it a while ago, but there were no real specs out for it at that time.
I am debating this wheel over the Riva Stage 3 wheel and wanted to know if it could be run with 42lb. inj. and stock ecu.

It's going to be $595 and we are not sure about fuel requirements as no testing has been done on stock ECU's. Im confident that it will work well with 42's as i don't expect it to perform as well as the Riva stage 3 SC which we already know to work well with the 42's and stock ECU.
I only say the S3 SC will out perform it because the new Rotax wheel only makes 12.7 psi at 8700 RPM's. That's alot of RPM's to make such little boost

I have the new SC with spacer , and will test the boost at 8100, RPM and 8500 ROTAX RACING ECU.
I will keep you updated next week

Thanks for the fast replies, all!
Jerry - do you know when these will be in stock?
mrracing - Thanks in advance for letting us know your boost results.

MRO last i heard it was 2 more weeks. That was 2 weeks ago

riva claims 10.4psi @ 8400
RR claims 12.7@ 8700
do you think riva will put out another 1.4 psi from 300 rpms?
or the inverse, do you think the RR will lose more than 1.4 by running at 8400 instead of 8700
we know the ratio of engine RPMs to supercharger rpms, but does anyone know the proportions of SC rpms to boost pressure?

those proportions are going to vary according to impeller design. the only sure way to know is on the water testing with a good accurate digital boost gauge.
