03 GTX DI PTO and MAG TPS OUT OF RANGE

Does anyone think this may cause a failure where you loose compression? I have about 24 of the PTO sensor and 150 of the MAG sensor out of range faults.

These sensors not working properly can cause you to fry a motor, yes. These sensors determine the fuel mapping, chances are it ran lean and cooked the cylinders causing low compression.

That is what I was afraid of. Thanks for the input. I now have begun the procedure of diagnosis on these sensors. I have 2 extras. I want to swap them out after I run it on the trailer for a bit. See if it throws a code again.

If it's really low on compression you know you will only be doing further damage to the engine right? You might get away with a top end if you don't run it till it scatters...
    How low is the compression?

The compression on the old engine was 25 and 100. I replaced the engine, cleared the codes, and fired it back up after going through the usual precautions. It fired and I ran it for 5 seconds. It coded on both TPS sensors. I replaced both of them fired it back up. Now no codes and I plan on running it on the hose for a while in the driveway. I also will conduct a fuel pressure test as it wont rev up.

P1102 again. I am going to switch them and see if I get a fault on the PTO side.

I ran the candoo, wrote the cleared codes and reset TPS back to the machine. Started on the hose 4 min or so, so far so good. No codes, no faults. Test drive today!
