Smile Bought a 310 to go with my 250

Just got a 310 and have an '07 250 that my daughter will now ride. I've been riding the 250 for 7 years and never rode a 300 and the 310 absolutely blew me away! I spent 1.5 hours breaking it in and then spent about an hour blasting around and got to the point that I was too tired to hang on anymore! The thing is a beast - the difference in the machines is astounding.

Congrats on the new ski man! They are an awesome ski! Just curious if you are having ECU issues like a lot of the 310's are? Pretty much when the rev limiter hits around 67MPH it will back you down to 61/62MPH. If your not sure, check it up to make sure your 310 is good.

I never did any WOT runs so not sure. Wind was howling and lake was wavy and ski was new. I will check it out this weekend and see. Now that I see there is a reflash I will probably put some hours on the ski and get a reflash at some point this summer.

Yah, check it out. It's pretty easy to see once it happens. I have the R&D reflash. Love it.

Thanks everybody for the replies. Ran the skis today and 310 definitely pulls back. Runs up to 7600-7700 and then pulls back to 7100-7200. Outruns my 250 especially off the line and mid range but the 250 felt strong at top end runs around 7700 with stock pump etc. 310 still outruns it easily. Had fun here on Memorial Day in Dallas with overcast skies and big downpour right before we pulled them out and then BOOM - blue skies at about 5PM when we were headed to eat!! Had a great day though never rode in a downpour before - any more than 20-something and the rain was painfull.

Sorry for the bad news man. That is what it should not be doing backing down to 7100rpm. That means you are only going 61mph. It should hold 7700/67mph ish. The good news it is a known issue and a factory recall should be in the near future I'd hope. If you are not worried about your warranty and have the extra cash you could just get the ECU reflashed to unleash the beast. Or even the SCOM might be a good option. I prefer the ECU reflash.
