    VTECH Q's

Hey guys, I'm ready to punt my #*&$! SCOM into the ocean and pick up a VTECH tuner. I saw the videos and read all the instructions but I'm just wondering how complicated the process really is? Would the 8375 be a solid starting tune? Also, I think the VTECh site kinda sucks.. Tough to navigate around. Just my 2c

It's very easy, you plug the Maptuner in your ski, request tuning... Unplug and connect with USB in your Pc... Check for updates and a couple minutes after... You download tunes and flash your ski... (same as the video)

    I have the 8375rpm AGR 402...

If you click the link to the online store there is an instructional video and also instructional links to click on. The maptuner is very easy to use and the V-Tech tunes are fantastic
Direct link to the V-Tech maptuner in the forums store http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...&cPath=180_193

    I have the 8375rpm AGR 402...
Is AGR 402 a custom tune? Thought it was NOR101 and AGR101/102

No... Anyway, you'll have all the tune available for your ECU once your setup is done

I just couldn't find the AGR 402 anywhere on the VTECH list of available maps.

Spouk3, what RPMs are you seeing with your 8375 tune? Does it spike, drop or hold steady?

Testing for the first time this weekend... I have a 15/20r so probably less than that... 8000 or 8100 maybe...

Not sure... Can't really until I go on the water... Should not spike or drop... It should be steady... What's mods do you have on your ski?

Yeah, the vtech website is no accurate. Once you DL the software and have your maptuner connected, you will be able to see all the tunes available which is a lot more than is listed on their site. The higher the last numbers in the tune info means the more updated the tune is. So NOR401 is a better updated version of NOR101 or AGR 402 is an updated version of AGR 202 (just using number examples, don't know the exact ones).
