    99 SLH 700 repairs

Hi All. This is my first post here. I purchased 2 1999 SLH 700s a few days ago knowing one needed the top end of one cylinder re-done. Upon dis-assembly i noticed one cyl had .25mm oversize piston and the low compresion one had a .5mm oversized piston. The bottom ring was broken and the cyl was gouged pretty deep. I found a few good used STD bore piston/cyl/head assemblies but no .25mm oversize ones on ebay. Would there be a balance issue if I used a STD bore paired with a .25mm OS piston assy?
I am also going to replace the oil and gas lines and clean the carbs before I fire it up.
    Thanks
    Brad

I would either buy 2 std setups or buy one and bore it to match the .25mm cylinder

Thanks 785 Lugs. I am going to purchase a STD bore cyl and bore it for new .25mm OS piston.
Can anyone reccomend a place to buy a used cylinder other than Ebay?
Also, I noticed that the good cylinder piston did not have the hole on the intake side of it but the bad one did. Does it need it?
    Thanks in advance.

The hole on the intake side of the piston is for busting the intake signal ( trying to get more fuel )I called a piston supplier about this a few years back and was told they stopped this because the benefits were small if any I also used 2 pistons so comp would be the same ( personal preference )
