Watch Out For Jet Ski Haven In Shreveport, Louisana

I sent a Kawasaki 1100 cylinder block to Jet Ski Haven, in Shreveport, Louisiana to have it bored. They did a great job with the machine work. However, when I got the cylinder block back, it was missing one of the studs.

I called their shop a couple of times and left messages. No response. They've got their money and they apparently don't care.

I gave up and ordered the stud elsewhere. $17 for a stud and UPS charges, but I'm down for another week.

This place does business through Ebay under the name "hotbabepwcparts"

You can bet I won't use them again!

UPDATE: John, from Jet Ski Haven, called me tonight. He said that he didn't get the message to call me the first day. He got the message that I had called the second day and is behind. Today is the third day. He said that he doesn't remove the studs to bore the cylinders. When I packed it, I put wooden blocks over the studs to protect them from getting damaged during shipping. I went out and looked at the blocks and the holes in the block had markings around them where I had put nuts on them.

I don't know what to think. Perhaps he had a helper that started to pull the studs and he stopped him. Anyway, I told him that I ordered a replacement and not to worry about it. In fairness to him, I wanted to tell everybody that he did finally call me.
