2001 GTX carb. blown MAG piston. Please help.

serious lean seizure! Look at that melted porton of the piston, let alone the sand blasted look from deto. I'd tear it down completely and inspect the crank. Before you go tossing a top end at that beast you need to resolve what cause it and rectify it. Go through the fuel system completely and don't surrender until you find the source or you'll only melt another. What's the pto piston look like?

Those are always a chore it seems to find what happened for sure. Do you have any pics of the cylinder walls? Check the inlet and outlet cooling lines too. Make sure they are not clogged.

You are running a steam train there....... Seen it before usually with after market heads
The Head gasket is leaking and the heat created from the steam inside the cylinder is melting the piston.I have had one come in one day and at least 30 mm of ring was showing around the piston .
