Ive never been a fan of leasing, especially with "toys".
I think in a lease, your way to restricted on what you can do. Any kind of modifications are out of the question.

My advice to you before you go and do anything is read on the forum and get some common knowledge on skis since you say its your first time. Then you need to decide wether used or new is the option for you. I decided to go used. I have bought 3 jet skis this way and have no regrets. I have saved a ton of money and no issues (knock on wood). If you go yamaha they are overall the most reliable ski on the market. Though other brands have some very nice skis as well. Really think about what kind of riding you will be doing and what kind of power you will desire. Different models have their pros and cons and are tailord to different rider types. Again just read a lot in here so you can make a more educated decision.

Bad idea for you, good idea for Yamaha... especially when you have to bring it back!

Ad sounds good but the fine print is probably the deal killer. Haven't seen anyone post that has actually read the entire lease agreement, let alone actually leased one.
Yamaha wouldn't offer it if it wasn't a profit center for them but with the pwc market shrinking virtually every year they need to come up with something to push more units out the door.
Would be great if someone would post the entire contract so we could all read it.

Im looking for a family ski that can pull small kids on a tube.... Anyone know if you can finance the ski at end of lease? and yes it would be nice to see the fine print on the forum but I can't find it anywhere.

If my ski checked more of your boxes I would have suggested buying used.

Wow, I had no idea you could lease a PWC. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me, but then again, look how many people buy them and don't use them. For those people, a lease would probably be a good option. I leased a pick-up once....never again.

Depends on your financial situation really. Leasing vehicles has worked out tax wise for my Family's company when it comes down to taxes it was cheaper to lease then buy and then trade in. But for an average person leasing will cost you more.
