My Dodge was stolen, Kevin took Conrad and I for a ride in his Denali and I wound up buying an Avalanche. Can't beat that air suspensioned ride man.

I knew the 6.0 was coming out but I couldn't wait, I needed a truck so I have EVERY option but the 6.0. If I didn't need the truck I'd of waited until next year and went with the 6.2 with the supposed 6 speed transmission.
I'm waiting for headers and exhaust for the 5.3

Anyone with a GM 6.0. These are great engines but they will start leaking coolant at about 80-120k miles. Also make sure you use a GM waterpump or you will be doing it again in no time. For all of your DIY'ers, there is a special tool needed to remove the fan clutch, You can use a large pair channel locks, but this dose require two people and it is a real PITA!!! I have seen water leaks go from a small seaping leak to a major leak in just a few miles. So if you do not want to be seting on the side of the road somewhere make sure you keep a watchfull eye. Other than that these are great engines, I have seen them with over 300k miles with no major trouble in a box/delivery/cube van (knowing the drivers are hard on them).
