oil line for rotary valve 96 xp
I got an issue with my 96 xp. I pre mix 40:1 but still put oil in the oil tank for lubrication of the rotary gearshaft. The tank leaks oil in the hull true the grommet underneath the oiltank. it makes a mess in the hull. I replaced the grommet but it lasted only for a short time before it started to leak again. I was planning to loose the oil lines, fill them up with oil and place a tube to link them together so its filled with oil. I was wondering if somebody has done this already and if it worked out. is there anither solution for this?

It's been done like that before, the method you are describing is for the guys that done want to take the time to take out the tank, lines and install the block off kit for the oil pump and take out the little plastic drive shaft in the mag cup housing.
