Broken Steering Cable Lock Removal Suggestion

Looking for suggestions on how to remove a broken steering cable lock from a 2006 SeaDoo GTX. This is on the reverse mechanism of the SeaDoo. On the parts schematic it is reference number 28 part number 277000784. Thanks for any suggestions.

its not too hard to do. First pull the cable out of the hole, then get a 90* pick tool, and maybe a small screwdriver, and work it out. Its thin plastic, and could probably pick a hole thru it, and break it out the rest of the way.

Hope this helps some. Replace with the billet aluminum ones they sell on Ebay. Well worth the money.
