99 GTX LTD got spark, got fuel, NO GO?
This one has me baffled! I got a buddies 99 GTX and it just wont start. Pulled the plugs, got spark, DESS 2 beeps, all fuses good. 128 lbs of compression. Pulled the carbs they look fine with a bit of wear on the diaphragms but nothing that looks like it would be a problem. They were a bit dry though when we pulled them off. I even put a bit of fuel in the cylinders and noting! Wont even backfire. I changed out the battery, same thing nothing.
He did charge the battery but I am unsure if he did or did not disconnect the cables.

If you have spark, compression and fuel, then the last thing I would look for is timing. Spark at the wrong time means nothing. I would check the static timing.
I had a polaris like this that drove me nuts. Finally found out the flywheel key sheared and timing was totally off.

Will do on that suggestion. Something I have never seen before for sure!

Check your reed valves. If one is broken or bent could cause a no start condition. Also wouldnt hurt to cut a piece of the spark plug wires just to get sure the caps are well tight and you get a got spark.
