    My fishing setup (project)

Hi guys, friend Richard Hamm told me there was a thread here on pwc fishing, so have come to post something I made up.
It's my1st attempt, and added a downrigger and Humminbird fish finder. Will be finishing off today with extra support for the back end, probably with black rubber tie downs, (but seems solid as is).
    Anyway, here are my images

Pretty easy. We did a dry run at home. We'll take turns on the back (facing backwards) to handle the rods and such.

The platform on its angle, offers some ergo comfort for resting the feet with legs up higher than if having to balance on the platform of the ski. (as we did last year without a setup)
I used as little material as necessary to keep the weight down, yet has some support underneath in key areas. I glued all parts before using an air gun with long stainless staples.
Have completed the final tie-downs at the back and it's very solid.
3 heavy coats of enamel to protect the plywood, even into jointed areas, and while the last coat was still tacky, I then installed the in/out carpeting, with shorter stainless staples.
Been too choppy lately to take it out for the real test, but hope for calmer winds to come soon.

side note- I started out with a stiff cardboard templates, then mirrored it to another so I could do the tailoring before cutting materials.
I realize each individual has their own way of doing things, though if anyone is interested, I could take a scan of what I have and upload a template to save you time. I won't keep it for long as the garage is a clutter.
