I have a constant chirping sound when my lanyard is in place and the main power switch is on. My 2006 Sporster seems to run fine. It just has a chirping sound when the engine isn't running and the lanyard is installed. Is this the ECU telling me a code for a problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's a reminder that you have the lanyard on the dess post as it will keep the computer alive and kill your battery overtime. Think of it like leaving the ignition key in the on position on your car.
