250 oil leak
all of the oil leaked out over the winter. can't find the leak and a VERY slow leak
any hits on where to look ? has to low in the engine and leaks out when not running

Hopefully this is not the case but it has happened before. If something was dropped in the hull(bolt, nut, anything metal) it probably ended up under the engine lodged and through time ate through the oil pan as I said I hope this is not the case here because that is a big job to repair but much better than finding out when riding and the loss of oil destroying you engine also.

Check the dipstick, the flange is just brazed on, I have come across 3 broken joints that leak slowly.

2 x rubber hoses on the lower rear section of the oil pan.............I bet the clamps rusted off due to to poor cleaning , and the hose started to leak !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same issue. Do not notice an accumalation of oil just enough to notice when you drain the water out after washing. Slight film in haul.
