New gauge issues
A few seasons ago i bought a 08 RXP-X. Since i got it, the screen was bad enough that only a few of the areas of it could be seen. This week, i put a new screen in and now i'm seeing things that aren't right. Since i never saw it correctly work, i don't know if it is a screen or ski issue. First off, the fuel gauge isn't reading anything. Is there a way that i can check the ski wiring where the fuel sending unit plugs in? Also, i pulled the fuel pump and broke the plastic clip for the float. Can i buy just the float and maybe the sending unit or does someone here have an entire pump that the pump is bad but the sending unit/float are good laying around? I'd be willing to buy it to keep from spending $200 on the whole pump. Also. Just above the hour meter, there is a T with a number following. Is this a temp meter? What does it read on the ski? It is showing T 474 now and if that is the temp, surely it's wrong. If it is, how can i check this? I appreciate the help. At this point, i need to find a sending unit and float to get any further on the troubleshooting. Anyone have one? Thanks!

From others that I've seen, it looks like the compass should be where the T 474 is. Anyone know what that is?

Did you have the gauge flashed for your year ski? Is the gauge new or used?

I did pull the fuel pump and it will flash on the gauges "fuel low" but still no bars. That makes me think that it's sending the info, but not displaying correctly.

it has the wrong flash, i had this same issue with a new cluster but either dealer or candoo can flash it for you.
it will say 0 rpm then when you rev it goes up tp 5000 then nothing after that and crazy shit like t506 m134 for compass readings.

I appreciate it. I'm tech savvy but know nothing about how these work. I'll be bringing it back to the guy that flashed it this week and see where we are afterwards.

I just paid one guy $35 and it doesn't look like he did it correctly. I have a feeling I'm going to get burned on this one and have to bring it somewhere else and have it done again....

I just ordered the float, sending unit, and the fuel filter while I was at it. That should take care of my pump issue. It looks like my only other problem is the dash and finding time to bring it in.
