    Broken screw in carb!

I was in the process of rebuilding my carbs and the screw head holding in the needle arm broke off!

Any ideas on getting it out? Or should I just be looking for a new body for this carb?

I'm sorry to ask a question like this in the middle of your post, but how do I post to these public threads? I am trying to work the website, I am a first time user. Thank you.

Thanks stimpsonjcat, I was in contact with rpa101 last night and he's going to search his inventory tomorrow or Thursday for it. I he can't find one I'll be in touch.

    Thanks. C

So thanks to the generosity of rpa101, I have a Mukuni SBN carb body I might be able to use! Thanks!

The one problem I've noticed is that it's not identical. As far as I can tell the only glaringly obvious difference is the positioning of the inner venturi. On my original it's off-center, but on this donated one it's centered. Is this an issue and/or are there other differences that would make this carb unusable for my needs?

    The two carbs...

In your post you said the one with the centred buster is yours the one without the studs ? That confused me because I removed the studs to ship the one I gave you ? Any way I believe the centred buster is a early 650 the one I gave you should have bin from a 93 750 can't check right now I just packed that box back up and put it in storage do clarify which one is your original

Whoops! My mistake! Mine is the off-centered one and yours is the centered one. I'm taking mine to a machine shop tomorrow to see if they can extract the screw shaft and make it useable, but if not I'll let you know about those other two you have. Thanks Rob.
