going to sandblast engine case, need best paint solution/recommendation

Title says it...I read here and there that buying paint and baking it would be best...basically I'm going to tape off like a mad man and sandblast the corrosion and other garbage off of my 2006 gp1300r skis. I was hoping one of you have done this and can share the best practice for prep and paint to ensure longevity and cleanliness.

of course you know that powder coat is best
next would be engine enamel by someone like Hirst
they may even have 2 part hitemp.

I have always used Rustoleum Satin Black, bake it on oven at 225-250 for an hour or so. Lasts forever and looks great. Much cheaper than powder coating.

I used a rustoleum high temp engine enamel. worked great and still is holding up after a year.
