Did you ever flip the Spark?

  4. #4
Are you shutting water on before or after spark is running when flushing?

nope has never been flipped, just normal running and playing in my own wake. first 5 hours was just plain driving breaking it in.

I have never flushed it, i have yet to buy the flush kit.

The skipping started right after break in, i played around with my own wake doing some spins, never getting over 3/4 throttle, stopped let it idle, then took off and it was a little hesitant then it picked up and whent and was fine the rest of the day. The next day out it started off running fine then, i stopped and let it idel while i was talking to someone for about 5 min, when i throttled back up it was hesitant again and it wouldnt open back up around 6k rpms, i finally got it back up and running by pulsing the throttle a little here but it kept doing that if i ever idled it or shut it down for more than a few minutes.

oh also one thing i did notice is that it sucked alot more fuel while it was running like this almost twice the rate.

The first 4 hours they use more fuel and then they become great ... U can still flush it by holding the hose on the out put ...

Where they tight? they look ok, but look like they may have been not seated properly and a small amount of water was able to get past the compression washer and down into the thread and probably even the cylinder to foul the plugs. The compression washers look like they could have closed a little more. Get new plugs and torque them in, follow NGKs guildlines for this and you should be fine.
