Will a RXP ECU work in a 04 GTX-SC?
Hi forgive my ignorance as I am a 2-stroke Yami guy
I have a friend who is looking into this and believes the RXP ECU will give him a higher rev limit than his current one. he has installed an air intake, resonator and will be adding a Riva SC wheel. He also has done the Riva grate, 2* wedge and opas kit. any prop recomendations would be appreciated too.

Yep, been there done that. I put my stock 04 RXP ECU on my friends 04 GTX SC. My 04 RXP had the knock sensor update so i had to move the piggy back update harness over to the GTX and also use the lanyards that were programmed to that ECU. He gained almost 2 mph just from bolting the ECU on.

2 MPH is a great gain. I can see I have lots to learn here. Thanks Guys

remember the RXT/RXP ecu are mapped for faster SC impeller speeds, more air volume, more RPM`s.
also you should have an intercooler
and pop in the yellow water reducer disc in the pump/pump support for a little more cooling.
with the normal mods, air intake, thru hull, riva wheel, riva IC, rotax press reg, skat 16\21 I was able to achieve 69 mph on the 04 GTX SC...
BTW I have a 2005 RXT/RXP ECU with 25 hours on it for sale!...PR...
