Yeah, I'm a Yamaha guy now.
So late last year I purchased a couple of 2013 FXSHO. I was only able to put about 10 hours on them last season, but I got to go out this Memorial Day weekend and put a few more hours on them. Man, these things are bulletproof. I've had 3 Kawasaki Ultra's ( 2x250's, 1x260 ) and they were nothing but a headache, All 3 had mechanical/engine problems. and that's after proper maintenance. Who in the hell has time to be a mechanic when you buy a watercraft ? Screw that. I will say that these FXSHO's are awesome. Plenty of power and smooth riding. Maintenance is easier and 87 octane is so cheap.
I will admit the Kawasaki Ultra's are a little better in the chop, but definitely not worth the headaches. Now maybe next year I'll look at the FXSVHO's.
