    for the sled guys out there

    man guys i was watching pinks tonight and seen them racing sleds on pavement whats the deal i live in louisiana and i think i might buy me a sled they run on water pavement snow dirt. they should change the name form snowmobile to something like amph. trike or something and they are fast to running 7 seconds in the 1/4

    Oh Hell you guys never seen that. They race them over at the local track where my buddy races a heavy eliminator class with his Camaro. I'll take some videos this summer while I'm over there with him. They are faster than some of the street bikes.

    Asphalt is fun on sleds, but bracket racing sux!! Snowmobiles are so consistent, i never even had to worry about tuning or gaining anything to win.

    I saw the episode too! I couldn't believe that older VMAXX was keeping up like that in the first race. It was a 2 stroker almost stock against the other custom sled. And the skis have been replaced with what looks like roller blade wheels.

    yea but that old 2 stroke also had some psi twin piped with a nice set of carbs and a set of reeds ignition they just didnt get into detail where as the yamaha was running a 50 shot nos which is why it came on the top end like a bat out of hell if you knowtice. a 2 stroke is going to kill a na 4 stroke of the line everytime
