    Seadoo Rxp AFR Fuel Mixers

Hey everyone new to this forum, Just want to get a few opinions on my ski and how it is running...

i have a 2006 seadoo rxp, i have just finished rebuilding the engine and have currently done 8hrs since build

    Engine setup:
    Built bottom end
    Bkit
    60Ib injectors
    Riva 3" intake
    Riva fuel pressure regulator
    Supertech vavle springs and retainers
    629 camshaft
    Riva gen 3 intercooler

At first i did have the vacumm on the fuel pressure regulator connected but noticed it was mixing the oil with fuel, only reving to 8100 and the afr gauge was reading 10.5 full throttle

So now i have removed the vacumm on the fuel pressure regulator and have set it to 60psi, took it for a run this afternoon and the mixes are between 10.5 - 11.0 and now its reving to 8360 full throttle

Are these mixes correct or is it still running too rich and shouldnt be dumping any fuel into the oil

You could pull a little more fuel. What ecu are u running? What are your idle and mid range afr's?

you left out the most important part
there are different safe afr's for different max boost and fuel types

ideally, you would want to tune for around 11.7 AFR @ WOT

What RPM limit ECU are u running,& what Compression ratio Pistons?

    Pump gas, or race fuel?

Are u running open loop cooling, or closed loop cooling?

I am running a less cooke tuned ecu rpm limit is 9,000rpm
    14psi with 98 octane
Standard compression pistons with open loop cooling system

    The AFR's are:
    Idle is 12.0 - 12.5
    Midrange 13.0 - 14.0

Start by removing that 3" Riva intake setup, you are choking that Bkit...Go to a larger 4" setup, which will feed roughly 77% more air to the SC....that would lean it out a bit

What prop? It sound like it might need some tweaking...

I actually did have a 4" intake setup on it, it actually breathers better with the 3" riva setup

im running a 15/20 solad prop. Still need to do the wear ring but i just want to get these afr's corect

You are so very wrong sir. Search out the thread comparing the two and you will realize there is no comparison.

A 4in kanaflex destroys the 3in Riva in flow comparison. Probably why Riva now uses Kanaflex themselves...
