    ACE 900 Tec info

Hi all, new B here. As a gear head at heart. I would like some detailed info on my new Spark 900 HO. What is the weight of this beast? Max Hp is @ what Rpm Max torque is @ what RPM.
Is there a detailed spec sheet on the power curve? Does this engine have a forged crankshaft? I'm just very intrigued with this little engine and would like to understand it more. I have scoured the internet with no luck .

    Thanks in advance.

Should be plenty of info out there, they've been using this engine in ski doors for a few years I believe. Rotax ACE 900

This is not the same engine as the ski doos. It is the same ACE technology but not the same motor.

If I recall correctly, the ski doos have a 800 and 1000 ACE and the spyder guys have a 1300 ACE

"The Rotax 1330 ACE (Advanced Combustion Efficiency) high torque engine, three years in the making, features three cylinders in a 3.31-inch bore hammering at a 3.14-inch stroke. The liquid-cooled 1330cc Inline Triple puts out a claimed 115 hp at 7250 rpm and 96 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm."
Wonder if it is the same block just bored and stroked? This could get interesting... haha.

what Tiny was referring is that the 900 was not around in the previous Ski doos, they just introduced the 900, I saw for myself as well. Same technology different displacement.

The 900 ACE just came out in Ski-Doo this past winter, before that they did have a 600 ACE. I rode a friends 900 Renegade this pass winter. It was a great all around sled. It did keep up with the 800's and 1200's. This made it even better when I heard that Sea Doo was making a ski with the 900. We got 2 Sparks both with the 900 HO's. They are blast riding especially considering these are our first ski's.

I dont remember all the specs but weight is 52,6 kg, max hp is supposed to be 90 but i have seen dynosheets on the snowmobile engine saying 97 but there are a few differences between these. The marine version is lower compression and have a 1000 higher max rpm 7250 vs 8250( different valves to handle higher revs)
