    PRICES

Guys, I have been taking a look at the new 2014 ski's at seadoo.com. Are the dealers known to mark much or anything at all off the MSRP's like cars or are the MSRP's basically what your going to pay?

You're going to pay MSRP plus dealer fees in most cases. Unless you purchase a left over model, you can find some good deals on those.

You can also save by buying during the winter. It's hard to get a discount when they're able to sell every boat they can get their hands on.

do dealers respect cash? for example lets say i walk in with 10k in nice crispy blue hundos ready to drop, would they be willing to make a couple breaks to make something happen?

At a dealership, I wouldn't think using "cash" would give you any bargaining power over someone financing their purchase.
It does usually help with a private seller though.

haha yea thats kinda what i figured, but i guess who knows maybe a salesman might get a lil jumpy if he sees the crisp bills right in front of him and doesnt wanna see them leave without closing on somethin lol

I don't know how it works with PWCs, but with car dealerships, the salespeople get a commission on the financing. The higher the percentage, the higher the commission.

With something as seasonal as PWCs, I would think that the cash in hand would speak loudest off-season.

Nope. Private sellers are a different story though.

What specific ski are you looking at?
