Pictures of electrical Issue I had. Everyone should work to prevent this.
I would think this is going to become a problem for most people at one time or another. Rather then lose a day at the lake I would check this group of wires out next time you got your ski open.
Long story short. Quite a few people have reported electrical issues, and blowing fuses. I have here pictures of some wires that were shorting due to being rubbed on vibrating engine. I would think for most it is only a matter of time. Turning and jumping seemed to hasten the process. I will get some photos of their fix as well when I pull my top off next week.
Simple explanation, wires rub on 90 degree edge of engine block, until short. Dealership was told by Sea Doo to liquid wire the small damage, move the clamp over and zip tie it. Dealership also put silicone on hard edge to soften it up. Where it was moved I can't say until I see the area. I don't even know myself the exact location of issue but with pictures everyone could find it.
