I believe between 120 and 130 but I could be wrong. Hopefully someone with a 185 can chime in. It should be running 8000-8100 rpm. You need to check your supercharger to see if you can spin it. Those RPMS sounds like it could be slipping or clutches gone. Does the boat have bottom end power but no top end?

    Yes.
Take the sc intake hose off. Stick hands in. You will feel the sc wheel/blades. Spin it left. Spin it right.
    If it's tight, your good
if it spins, not so good.

    P.s. It's called challenger 185, and it's 18.5 feet. It should have a 215HP.

Pull the hose off and check it that way.
