    BOAT RAMP

New to forum , want to get some ideas re getting my skis to water from land. Have about 40 feet of mud and grass between land and brackish water. Looking at a shore docker boat ramp kit.
    Thanks

Sounds to me like you need an excavator with 40+ feet of reach... With a big ass excavator for a day you could have your own harbor... Build a dock and gravel a ramp and you are in business!

Step one is building a walkway over the mud and grass...then install your choice of lift or floating dock.

Most of those Shore Docker Ramps are pretty short, 40 feet is a good stretch. You said brackish, are you in a tidal zone? The best solution really depends on how much you anticipate your water levels rising and/or falling. Check out YouTube, they have some good options on docks, boardwalks, ramp kits, also floating docks, etc.
