    2007 RXT

I have a 2007 RXT with 35 hours on it. Running stock last year at 2500 ft elevation it ran 7650 rpm and 66-67 mph on the speedo. This year I worked with Riva and changed to the X SC, 42 lb injectors and a 15/20 Solas impeller. Low end has definitely improved, but top end is 7550 rpm and 67-68 MPH.
I am trying to figure out how to get the RPM and top end speed up. I have been told to either get an adjustable nozzle, or get the impeller re-pitched.
Any ideas or advice would be appreciated, I want to make sure I do the right thing.

repitch your impeller is cheapest option. would try a 13/18 prop or 14/18 to get ur rpms up

Do you think re-pitching to get the RPM up will also increase the top end speed?

to a degree, yes. i have never been one for top speed so never tuned my hull for it. i had to switch to a 3 blade prop on my rxt to bring speeds to a more sane 84mph

I have same issue with mu stock 2007 wake. ~7800 rpm and it does not care if air and water are hot or cold and this drives me crazy. I tried another set of injectors from my RXP which goes 8040 when was stock but no difference. Even in 65F water

keep the same mods and switch back to stock prop. Give it a try and you ll see big difference...I bet you will see 70 mph on speedo which means around 66-67 in gps measurements .I was at the same spot as you are now. Mine could hardly reach 7800 when was stock... Now I am about 8000-8050 . The power you have gained due to x charger, you are loosing it from the bigger prop.

    AIR FLOW MANAGEMENT.......

You need to open up to a 4" intake setup to FEED that bigger SC...You are choking that X SC by keeping the OEM stock air intake in there...REMOVE IT.

The cork in the OEM system is the little rubber connector that connects the plastic box on top of the fuel tank to the round tubing that wraps around your motor.

Just to see where you are at, start by removing the box on the tank, along with the rubber connector, leaving the round tube that wraps around the motor. You can even put a filter on the end of it to protect from debris...

ALSO, the air tubing that is connected to the small triangle hole under the center storage, in front of the seats...There are 2 parts, remove them both...

    Go for a run.

Your RPM's should increase, which will show you that more airflow will get you more power...

Now invest in a 4" intake system, like the Fizzle setup...

The other corks in the system are 1) restrictive OEM IC, and restrictive OEM waterbox...Work on those next...
