    2003 msx 140 no fire/no fuel pump

I am pretty sure the EMM went out...but I thought I would post and see if one of the guys have any ideas!! Ive checked the stator and its working..proper voltages across the 12 pin connector. The CPS ohm check within specs. The loopback white/red wire has 23 volts while cranking. The battery is new. Does anyone know of anything I have not checked that can cause no fire/no fuel pump....

Did you unplug the loopback connector to measure the voltage?
White/Red wire voltage measurement requires the connector to be plugged in.
Unplugged there is no load and no power feed to the EMM or the fuel injectors.

Re-checked white/red loopback with it plugged in and get about 3 or 4 volts?? where is it losing the voltage?? inside the EMM??

The EMM power section takes the AC voltage from the stator coming in on the 12-pin connector. It rectifies, regulates and then delivers DC voltage on the 8-pin connector.

Either the EMM needs repair or there is a problem with the stator coils or flywheel magnets. Typically it is the EMM that needs repair, but sometimes a magnet comes loose from the flywheel and does damage to the stator.

Remove the CPS sensor from the top of the flywheel housing. If there is metal or magnet debris on the sensor then you may need to pull the flywheel to investigate.
