    2013 RXP-X vs 2014 RXP-X

    I have been looking for a PX and came across a local dealer with a new 13 that they are trying to offload at a good buy and was curious if there are any differences in the 13 and 14? I haven't been able to find any in my research other than the color and the year. Just curious if there were any "quirks" that were fixed or any "bells and whistles" on the 14 that you just simply can't live without.

    Welcome to Greenhulk.
    Ask the dealer if the 2013 has the upgraded intercooler. Other than that there is no difference.
    That being said, putting in an aftermarket intercooloer is the first thing I would upgrade on the ski, weather it has the OEM upgraded one or not.

    My only mod to the ski(Most told lie on GH I know) will be a Fizzle IC, whether I get a 13 or 14. That is my only worry with the ski. More than likely it will be freshwater use only, I am wrenching on a 97 GTI at the moment that I will use on the "big pond" if I ever get the chance or desire to ride the stormy seas.     Get the 13 and some of the money saved can go for the new IC.

    You should be able to get them to throw in the BEST protection on either ski.

    Really no difference between 13 and 14 that should have any effect on the purchase. 3K is a lot to save on a new ski. I'd go for the 13 and never look back.

    Might as well go with the 13' and save the money. If you don't like the color, then a seat cover and new paint should run you no more than $900 total and you have a completely custom ski.
