innovate mtx-d vacuum/boost acting up?
so i was able to get my boost gauge working for 1 day and now the last 2 times we went riding the gauge is all over the place but mainly around +43 sometimes fluctuates. being in boost really makes no change.
my mtx-l works perfect being wired the way it is purple for power, ground straight from battery... connections are soldered...

White/Black to ground and Red to +12v ... Is the MAP sensor still connected? Boost/Vacuum line still connected? Recheck solder and connection to be sure... Any sign of water inside the gauge/lcd? Defect unit... Maybe ...

+43 on a boost gauge is not working correctly on a super charged seadoo-- no way are you getting 43 psi out of any charger. I would buy a new 1 and start over.

lol i know im not boosting that much , i do not have the white wire to the ground on the boost gauge. i will re wire it again.
is there a way to test the gauge out of the ski to see if its reading properly?
when it was working correctly i had -24 at vacuum, and around 12 for boost on my 137+4 stock ecu.

I just installed this on my wifes ski..it seems a little off on hers too..boost seems low and so does the vacum...i have the white and black connected together to ground...the MAP sensor is mounted away from any and all electronic components(ECU,Fuel controller) and has a brand new vacum line straight to the intake manny....I am beginning to think these are not PWC friendly...

I have mine - 12 or - 13 in vacuum and 10-11 when on boost...
Recheck everything... Maybe it's defect... Check the map sensor connection

my mtx l has been working flawlessly for 2 years now, but i did seal the face with silicone. the gauges are suppose to be water resistant. i will try to rewire the boost gauge independently as i spliced into the mtx-l with the mtx-d. hopefully i didnt fry this beech.

Def gotta seal up the mtx-d gauge with silicon. It will always let water in. The vacuum always is accurate on mine, but when I am at WOT, the boost is all over the place. Anywhere from 12.5 to 15 is what I see.

Could just be a flaky sensor. They probably sell those separately at innovate. Did your source line get any water in it?(like leaky IC) It can take out the sensors.
Breon had to get a new sensor for his, when he swamped his ski to put a fire out, on the water.
Mine has had no problems at all. (2 yrs now)

i will remove the sensor and guage today. let it sit out in the sun and bake, re seal everything and check to see if anything changes... IC should be good but who the hell knows with my luck lol.
