    Pump Oil

I decided to change my pump oil while installing my 4 Deg Riva Wedge. I read the procedure however where is the pump oil full? I don't see any opening on the cone to add the oil. Probably a stupid questions but I need a hand. Thx in advance.

Put the oil in the cone about 1/2 to 2/3 full, lower the pump onto the cone then flip it over and install the cone bolts. There is no fill plug like the old oil bath two stroke pumps.

If your using gear oil, yes. If you decide to go with the grease, you might get away with the pump on. IMO, take the 30 min and put oil in. A constant wet oil bath on bearings is better then a bunch of grease packed in the back of the cone.
