Solas 15/20r pitch question
I just put my 15/20r on the shelf next to my other 15/20 and noticed the pitch looked different. I started looking closer, and noticed in black marker, but faded "Green hulk was here" with a little smiley face. after measuring this prop looks like it has 2mm of pitch already added to it.
The point of all this babble is this:
A: Jerry, if you read this, do you usually sign the props and add a smiley?
B: If it already has 2mm pitch added, could you bend it more, or does it need to be reworked via Impros or whomever.
C: IS it normal for a stage 2 RXP with a RR S/C wheel to be Banging the limiter with pitch already added like this?
I already have a Skat 3 blade on the way, but this will be my backup prop in my back up pump so I want to get Ideas what to do....

I think he signs them if you send him ure prop to get pitched. he signed mine like that after adding 1.5.

Anybody have any Ideas as to what I should do with the pitch of the prop? I will probably call Impros I guess...

Make sure it has 2mm added and not 2mm subtracted. I had basically the same set-up as you (do you have an RR ECU) and when I installed the 15/20 with 2mm subtracted it was all over the rev-limiter, but had brutal acceleration. I re-pitched to stock when I added the Rude SC and racing cam and only saw 8350 rpm... the pitch is SO critical.
BTW... adding 3mm of pitch is about the limit before it needs to be checked/adjusted by the pros. I think I'd try to add 1mm and see what happens

With the prop sitting on the table nose up, the blades have been bent upwards. Thats added pitch right?
