    09 Rxp-x Motor in 05 RXP

I'd like to know what's needed to put a 09 rxpx motor in my 05 Rxp (stage 1 kit). Damage done to my 05 can be seen below and its not worth rebuilding at this point...

Sorry man that blows, center cylinder is cracked as well, good reason right there to get rid of the older valves ASAP.

The motor will drop right in not sure about the electronics, fuel pump, IC etc I'm sure more knowledgable members will help there.

As far as I understand it best to use all of the electrics off the 09 . With the fuel pump you can cut off the plug and use your existing tank and pump with the 09 harness .

Yeah I just found out about the bad valves for 04-06 this year thanks. Looking to put an upgraded motor in.

I know the seller has all of the electronics from the 09 engine so it shouldn't be too bad.

You will need the complete main,& engine harness, ECU, Voltage regulator, Dash cluster, Steering harness, W/DESS post, & buzzer, and A new fuel tank, with pump module ( unless u cut the connector off, and use your 05 one)

I just did this with my 05' RXT with all 07+ parts.

This sounds like it would be a great idea to start a build thread on. I would really like to see the progress and end result. In my opinion I would just use everything engine to electronics from the 09
