    99 GP Hull Truing

I figure while I have the engine out and the weather won't be nice enough to really enjoy for at least another month I might as well work on my hull. I've been doing a bit of reading on the Group K site and this article:
    http://www.extremeteamracing.com/97-99GP1200.htm

Has anyone seen any result from doing this? Any other tips or ideas?

Can you post those pics of Jumper's Intake grate being filled and matched to the hull? I can't seem to find them anymore... Thanks

This was my attempt at hull truing. The grey areas are where I sanded the 'humps' down. You can also see the infamous 'hook' right in front of my trim tabs.

David, seal that gap between the pump shoe and the hull & the intake grate and the hull, I believe water passing in between this gap causes drag.

The link below is pictures of my shoe & grate/hull gap sealed. Also you will notice in 3rd pic, one side of my intake grate is sticking out infront of the pump shoe. I have since taken dremel to the grate and made sure it is flush with the shoe, every little bit helps.
