    Need more speed

I own a 2006 Seadoo Sportster 215 SCIC. The only modification is the Riva Gen II supercharger impeller upgrade. My top speed on GPS is 51 mph pushing 7800 rpms - boating on a lake; air temp 71, water temp 67, smooth conditions, no wind, one person in boat around 220 pounds and a full load of fuel. I believe I have the stock impeller, and to my knowledge the wear ring has not been changed. I think the boat should go faster. Impros recommended a Solas Concord 14/19 pitch impeller for better overall performance. Does anybody have experience with this impeller and pitch in a jet boat? I would like more top end speed - very rare to pull with the boat. Is this boat capable of 60 mph? I thought I would get more out of the top end with the supercharger impeller upgrade. Thanks in advance for your input.

First things first, you won't see top performance out of your boat until the RPMs are at a solid 8100. Almost everything that you can add to a ski can be added to a boat. Air intake, intercooler, ECU flash, bigger supercharger wheel. The list goes on...

How do you like sportster 215? I was deciding what to purchase and I ended up going with the rxp 215. My buddy has a 1998 seadoo speedster with the twin engines and he loves it. I reall like the concept of the sportster especially the wake tower option. Ive read that stock rpms for our 215 engines is 8,000rpms +/- 200rpms. I also read on this site that 200rpms is good for another 1mph.
