    97 gsx 800 need help!!!!!

    I have a 97 gsx 800, I need to replace the crank seals. not sure if I should rebuild the motor of part it out, or try to find one @ a good price.
    if anyone has any info that would help it would be appreciated

    What makes you think you need to replace the crank seals?

    how else would oil get into the crankcase?? I understand the crank seals are common with these...

    If your pouring white smoke, then yes, it's time. Best bet is to just get a new crank. If you truly want to replace just the seals you have to take it to a shop and have them do it. By the time you have done that, it would have been the same price to buy a new crank....almost.
