    New wear rings for seadoo's

Before everybody goes crazy saying that thier new wear ring is bigger and does not fit, read the following attachment. the 267000338 is a pain in the a** to install but the 267000372 is chamfered and is way better to install, but you will still need a press for install.

    Thanks Chezzy... good info.

Now I know I'm switching to a SS ring. If I ever have to labor over the removal of a pressed in wear ring, it might as well be the best!

maybe these will be safer than the SS ones on the prop and last longer, i might have to order me one....so that one that the guy is selling for the 07 is atcually the right one...

Okay, so it sounds like the pump size has not changed just the diameter of the wear ring for tighter and harder to install fit. It would follow that the old wear rings, if you can find them, can still be used on the '07's and the inside diameter has not changed so props from other years are still swapable... Think I'll quickly order a couple of OLD wear rings...

    Thanks, HOSS

There's a special GTI rental ski? And what is a BVIC? Yes this means ss for everyone. Are the new rings the same price? I figure the parts price would increase since they don't have to be changed as often and shops will need a harbour press to install them. If this took place for the 07 models then whoever was replacing theirs and dixcovered that the one they got from Parker wouldn't fit, how did the remove the original?

Yes there is. It has an aluminum pump instead of plastic like the standard GTI.

SO if I read the bulletin correct, 04-06 models will still use the same wear ring as before. This bulletin only effects 07 models correct? If not SS it is for me as well......
