    03 Gp1300r dies after WOt for about 10 Seconds

    runs fine at 1/2 throttle

    starts up fine

    when i WOT picks up speed then dies. rode for 6 mins and 1/2 got on it again WOt and it ran perfect. then started doing it again and dieing at WOT

    checked plugs there fine spark in all 3.

    Battery terminals are tight.

    Could it have been the EFi getting wet? this all occurred after we stopped at a sand bar for about an hour.
    Low Gas in tank? my gauges are bad but when i opened the tank there was about 2 inches of gas.

    Recently happened to my xlt.
    I changed my fuel filter, fuel petcock and removed the flapper door on pick up.
    All seemed fine. Changed all at once an problem went away.

    will check tomorrow morning. the weird thing was after it died a couple of times, i was going maybe 1/2 throttle for maybe 10 minutes then i got on it (wot a couple of times and didnt die. then once i stopped for about 30 minutes and and rode again the problem came back. my gauges are gone so i dont know if there was any warning etc. not sure if some electrical system got wet. when i opened the gas tank i had about 2 inches of gas from the bottom of the tank. PV system seems to be working fine. not sure if it might be the efi unit cause it took lot of water on it that day. Before all this occurred that same day.. i was at a sand bar and when i went to crank it didnt like if the stator was locked, after a couple of pushes of the start bottom it finally started. after the stator issue maybe 5 mins later the ski started turning off when running WOT for more then id say 5 seconds or so.
