    RXP and RXT 215

I'm looking at a couple of 2007 RXP and RXT 215 with no metal washers on the S/C. These skis have 70 to 100 hrs. should this be a concern. I would like to purchase one without having to work on it this summer.

I think most would agree that you would probably want to rebuild the supercharger on either ski.

I purchased a 2007 RXT 215 last year with 67 hours. First thing I did was pull the SC and send it to Jerry. Ths ski is 7 years old with the same ceramic washers and bearings it came from the factory with. As I was told, it's a failure waiting to happen. I pulled the SC off, shipped it to Jerry and installed it without a problem. There is a removal guide in the How to and FAQ section that is damn good.

All in all my ski was down for about a week. If you don't want to deal with SC maintenance, steer clear of the SC skis.

I would stick with 08 and newer .
No telling if the s/c failed with the ceramic washers and if they were properly cleaned out. Ive seen ceramics fail and people just rebuild the s/c with metal and sell them.
