    svho timing chain

    Have u heard of any issues with timing chains breaking, heard a rumor.

    Haven't heard or seen anything. I've heard of a couole of sho motors break them. Maybe two that I know off. They are less than 50 bucks to buy so if you ever in doubt just change it, especially if you have had a clutch failure that shot teeth at the chain.

    I had a Yamaha 325+ HP turbo snowmobile that blew a timing chain apart while making a pull on a hill. Didn't even think to adjust it with the huge increase in HP I had. Now you got me thinking about making sure this one is adjusted properly with the higher HP with mods/reflash.

    Thanks for any info you can share.

    Sho motor you can not adjust. It is self adjust.

    How do u know it was the timing chain that went first?
