Stripped Torx? You need this in your toolbox!

Removing the exhaust manifold on a 2012 PX last night and managed to strip one of the E8 torx. By the time I got done trying to get it out it was completely rounded off. Came across a post on the forum about the Craftsman bolt out tool. I'm sure alot of you guys have heard of this, but I never have and have been working on 4tecs for 10 years. Anybody that wrenches on their 4tec should know about these little pieces of metal heaven. Popped the #1 on the stripped E8 and with one hand the sucker came out like butter. I feel like I have lived a sheltered life never having heard of these . Hopefully this helps some folks!

By the way this style is especially good for the exhaust manifold bolts, its thin and has a built in extension so it can go directly into a 1/4" socket. Just enough clearance to get past the manifold so it leaves you as much room as possible for your hands and to turn the ratchet.

@ MPower - Don't forget to update the forum on how the tool performs.

I think we should collectively pool all our screwed up Torx, melt them down and sculpt them in to a suitable statue for BRP to have in their reception area.

Anyone think of a suitable sculpture?
