    Riva SC Impeller nut change?

Ok, so it's been a LOOOONG time since I have been on here, but I need so help. We are rebuilding all of the RXP's SC'ers before we get them wet and decided to get frisky.

In a box of parts we have laying around, we have what appears to be a riva stage-3 impeller and housing (marked S3 on the impeller, housing bell has been milled to match and the veins look aggressive as hell). As we are installing the impeller, I can't get a socket to fit into the impeller cavity to tighten the nut?

Did RIVA supply a proprietary nut for this setup or am I just an idiot?

Also, speaking of idiot... What would happen if one were to say... install this S3 SC into a Stage 1+ ski? I still have the stock injectors, and know I should bump those to 42's... But... If I put the ski in the water while awaiting delivery of said 42's... am I going to regret that choice?

    Long time no ski!

You need a THIN WALL deep socket...thats the only way to get the nut on, and its not the OEM bullet style, its just a regular looking nut...

As long as the OEM IC is in there, it should be fine for normal cruising...but DO NOT get into the boost for more than a second....if you don't trust yourself, then don't put it in....waiting a week is better than a burned down motor...

Cool, so just a regular nut, I got a box of odds and ends like that!

OEM IC is still there. Just need to find some cheap source for 42lb'rs.
